A Message from Mary 9/8/18 1

It’s been a busy week! With just 58 days until Election Day, our team is in high gear working to elect Democrats across Tennessee. Last week, our latest Blue Cocktail Hour took us to Memphis to celebrate Shelby County’s huge Democratic wins in August and raise money for TN Rising, our candidate support and get-out-the-vote program (photos below).
Everyday, our candidates speak with voters who have the same concerns — things aren’t working in Nashville and in Washington. Inflation keeps rising at a rate that essentially cancels out any long-overdue wage increases. Across Tennessee, paychecks haven’t kept up with rising costs for housing, food, and health care.
And everyday, our candidates speak with voters who ask the same question — “Who is looking out for us?”
Hardworking Tennesseans deserve elected officials who will have their back and believe that no matter who you are, what you look like, or where you live, you deserve the opportunity for a better life for yourself and your family. This is why so many Tennessee Democrats have stepped up to run for office and volunteer to help candidates.
We need you too — it will take all of us to win on November 6. Here’s how you can get involved:

Sign up to volunteer for the Democrats up and down the ballot in your area through our Tennessee Victory coordinated campaign. After you fill out the form, someone from the coordinated campaign will reach out to you and help you get plugged into a volunteer shift.

Have you checked to make sure your voter registration is up to date? Take a minute to visit IWILLVOTE.com right now — a one-stop shop to register or double check your registration.

Stay up to date on the latest news from our team and campaigns by connecting with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Together, we can win — and Rebuild Tennessee Together.
Thank you,
Mary Mancini Chair, Tennessee Democratic Party
